About Us

Noomijum is an independent publication covering consumer technology, gaming culture, and the regulation and infrastructure that shape both. We started it because most coverage of these subjects is either a specification sheet or a press release, and neither helps a reader decide anything.

What we publish

Three kinds of writing. Practical guides that answer a purchase or setup question directly. Features that explain how a system works, whether that system is a subscription tier, a competitive scene, or a piece of silicon. And reporting on policy, supply chains and infrastructure, written for people who do not follow those subjects professionally.

How we write

Every article is written to be readable end to end. We avoid jargon where a plain word exists, we explain a term the first time we use it, and we try to end with something you can act on.

We do not publish rewritten press releases, and we do not run articles whose only purpose is to rank in a search engine.

Corrections

If we get something wrong we fix it and say so at the foot of the article. If you spot an error, the contact page is the fastest route to us.
